Practical disability support at home and in the community, shaped around what helps each person participate, build confidence and work towards greater independence.
Ahlam has been reliable, respectful and easy to deal with. Workers were on time and consistent. Highly recommend.

Same worker, where we can
MPS was built around a simple idea: everyday support should help the person be more involved in their own day. That could mean finding a routine that works, making something easier to get started, or building confidence to take part over time.
Ahlam Methri
Founder & Director
Our support workers help children, young people and adults with everyday life across Perth metro. Whatever the task, we start with the same two questions: what are you working towards, and how much of it can you do yourself today?
Morning and evening routines, showering and dressing, with you doing as much as you can manage today.
Cleaning, laundry and meals. Someone could do it for you. We'd rather do it with you, one part at a time.
Getting out the door, then to the shops, a class, a club or a friend's place, one outing at a time.
Support to join a group program and keep going back, with a worker you already know.
A lift to appointments, work or study. Or practising the route, if travelling on your own is the goal.
Cooking, budgeting, paperwork and routines, with less prompting each month and more decisions that are yours.
Leaving school, moving out, starting work, changing providers. Support for the weeks when routines need rebuilding.
Psychology-informed means paying attention to what motivates a person, what affects engagement, and how trust is built. It’s especially useful when support needs patience, consistency and time, as it often does with psychosocial disability, autism and intellectual disability.
If someone isn't engaging, we look at what might be getting in the way, whether that's mood, energy or the task itself.
With consent, we follow agreed strategies from the person's allied health team in everyday routines.
We stay within the support worker's role, and when something needs clinical input we refer back to the right people.
We share what our workers notice with the wider team, so support stays connected to the person's goals.
What helps can change from day to day, so we adjust the approach rather than force the same one.
Share what’s happening now, what the person needs help with and what good support would look like. We’ll ask a few practical questions about routines, goals, location and worker match, then tell you whether MPS looks like the right fit.

MPS supports children, young people and adults with disability. Our strongest focus is where patience, consistency and understanding the person can make everyday support work better.
Autism
Support with routines, everyday skills, community participation and changes that can make the day harder.
Psychosocial disability
Practical support that takes account of changing energy, motivation and routine.
Intellectual disability
Support to practise everyday skills, take part in decisions and build confidence over time.

It means our support workers pay attention to what motivates a person and what affects their engagement, and shape everyday support around that. It is not therapy, counselling, assessment or diagnosis. We are a disability support provider, and when someone needs clinical input we refer back to the right people.
Usually, yes. We work with NDIA managed, plan managed and self managed participants. If you're still waiting on a plan or not sure what your funding covers, get in touch anyway and we'll point you in the right direction.
That's what we aim for, and it's why we're careful about taking on work we can't staff properly. Some change is unavoidable, and when it happens we'll tell you before it does rather than after.
Tell us. We'd rather change the match early than have someone put up with a worker they don't click with. It happens, and it isn't awkward for us.
Yes, with consent. We follow the strategies your allied health team has already set and report back what our workers notice, so the people who wrote the strategy can adjust it.
It depends on the days and times you need and who we have available. We'll tell you honestly at the first call, including if the answer is that we can't help right now.
There are more answers on the FAQ page. If yours isn’t there, ask us. No question is too small, and you’re not committing to anything by asking.
We know what a good referral experience looks like from your side. Here’s what you can expect from us.
We give you a clear answer
If we don’t have the capacity or the right worker, we’ll tell you early.
We keep you in the loop
You’ll hear from us about how support is going, not just when something goes wrong.
We take worker fit seriously
If we don’t have the right worker for the participant, we won’t fill the roster for the sake of it.
Share a little about the person, what support is needed and what matters day to day. We’ll talk it through, ask what we need to understand, and be clear about whether MPS is the right fit.
